Summer calls for ice cream.
The warmer weather inspires a craving for rich, creamy, and tasty ice cream scoops. That means reaching for classics like strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla ice cream for the more basic of us.
But Brooklyn-based brand Van Leeuwen is anything but pedestrian, offering delicious and unconventional frozen treats that include odd flavors like Kraft mac-and-cheese. This season, Van Leeuwen and retailer Walmart partnered up once more to bring approachable summer-inspired ice cream flavors like Campfire S’Mores, Summer Peach Crisp, Honey Cornbread with Strawberry Jam, and an Italian-holiday-inspired Espresso Fior di Latte Chip nationwide. But one limited-edition flavor is raising eyebrows and generating interest—Grey Poupon with Salted Pretzels.
