Café Bustelo is a ground coffee brand founded in East Harlem in 1928 and now owned by The J. M. Smucker Company that started after Gregorio Menéndez Bustelo, originally from Spain, landed in NYC via Cuba. When he launched his coffee company, he offered a product that could be used to make the strong, concentrated espresso-style brew popular among the local Cuban community.

The Bustelo brand and its signature packs of espresso coffee yellow bricks are practically synonymous with stovetop espresso. Recently, Café Bustelo recognized that even its most loyal fans were starting to opt for iced coffee instead. So, in time for summer, Bustelo has announced Ready-To-Drink (RTD) iced coffee made with its signature dark roast called “Espresso-Style Iced Coffee,” and based on its signature roast but ready to enjoy cold or over ice.
