Saverglass, a leading glass manufacturer of premium wine and spirits, has recently added to their current manufacturing capacity in France and the United Arab Emirates with a state-of-art bottle production factory in Jalisco, Mexico. The new plant can produce 120 million bottles a year, running a single multi-color glass furnace. Depending on demand, they can add two more furnaces.
About an hour’s drive from Guadalajara, the facility calls Acatlán de Juarez home, a town of about 22,000 people sitting high atop a plateau with an elevation of about 4,500 ft. Surrounded by lush greenery, the area is dominated by farms and grazing areas, and the rustic countryside is an idyllic contrast to the bustling cityscape of Guadalajara.
