Pep Bernat Vizcaya and Ainhoa Nicolau Salas designed Turmeon’s vermouth packaging. The goal was to create an unexpected design that differentiates the brand from traditional bottles while still preserving a premium association. The captivatingly vintage color system paired with intricate typography pairings does just that. The detail and complexity of the label are refined yet still refreshingly approachable.

Bodegas Jaime is a family owned winery located in Zaragoza – Spain. They produce Classic Spanish Vermouth with a recipe that has been passed down from over three generations, perfecting the preparation of their vermouths.

They are not going to reveal everything to you, but they will tell you that part of the secret lies in the maturation of part of the wine in the Turmeon bottles. The grandfather (el Pipero) made some barrels where he has been patiently waiting for that wine for more than 80 years. A glass of Turmeon, you are having a sip of history.

Turmeon is a vermouth macerated with 12 aphrodisiac botanicals used since the Middle Ages to make the famous ‘Love Potions’. This idea was conveyed using vintage yet surprising colour combinations to create vibrancy while evoking an emotional connection with the consumers. It was important to ensure that the new design looked premium, yet approachable and inviting to the consumer. The colourful patterns, intricate detailing and foils, portray the fun side of the brand while still conveying premiumness and the detailed care that goes into the product itself.

The unexpected design, cuts through with the traditional classic language. The labels mix strong visual impact with a modern and artistic look to create a unique and distinguishing product that will stand out on the shelf of any bar.

The range comprises two vermouths, the Turmeon Classic and Turmeon Zero, with the same botanicals and same flavor as Turmeon Classic, but with Zero sugar and half the calories.
