Beer and Vermouth? Vic Rojo Studio Makes it Look Beary Delicious

Beermut is an innovative craft beverage that marries vermouth with beer. This unique creation stems from a collaboration between El Guarango Vermut and Traümer beer. The branding, designed by Vic Rojo Studio, features two distinct cans representing different products, each adorned with a spectacle-sporting bear.

Beermut is a distinctive beverage inspired by traditional vermouth recipes, which typically involve wine infused with botanicals. In this innovative twist, beer replaces wine as the base beverage for macerating botanicals, resulting in a delicious and unique flavor profile.

Beermut emerged from the collaboration of two brands: El Guarango Vermut & Traümer beer. The objective was to develop a sub-brand under the umbrella of El Guarango Vermut while subtly incorporating elements of Traumer beer. With this directive in mind, we integrated Traümer beer’s symbol—a bear—into the visual identity of El Guarango Vermut, transforming it into a charming and endearing character.

We’ve crafted an expressive branding system featuring two distinct cans for two unique products, differentiated by color. Our brand system is characterized by its clean and simple design, anchored by a robust logotype that stands out on its own or alongside the Beermut character. Additionally, we’ve curated a collection of illustrations and handwritten fonts to complement the brand’s aesthetic.
