Strange Brew’s Swirly, Spooky Beer Design Gives Us a Can to Really Trip Out On

Maybe it’s just my overthinking nature, but sometimes it’s funny to think about the logic behind ultra psychedelic beer design. Why do so many of them seem to be interested in ego death? What are they putting in those microbrews now anyway? The growing legality of psychedelics might make trippy cans look like the threat of a good time, but as far as we’ve seen, they’re all just regular beer (for now). In any case, they undeniably look cool, especially when you’re three sheets to the wind.

polkadot design will certainly give Greece’s more existential beer drinkers some deep eye candy to chew on with their hypnotic label for Athens brand Strange Brew. In this spooky illustration, soil’s bottom feeders do what they do best: hang out in some dead stuff, like maybe a decaying human skull! The centerpiece of the brand’s Superdelic Trip is an ooey, gooey shroom-covered cranium straight out of the creepier seasons of Adventure Time. Take a sip, gaze into the void behind that skull’s eyes, and try not to think too hard about how that’ll be you someday!
