The heavily regulated space includes a litany of packaging rules, including child-resistant requirements. Frequently, the only practical solutions that meet child safety requirements get made from plastic that is not reusable or recyclable.
Leading packaging provider AE Global has partnered with Ocean Recovery Group (ORG) to create cannabis packaging certified “plastic negative” by non-profit rePuporse Global called “EZ-Lock.”
EZ-Lock comes in two forms. Each EZ-Lock design combines a plastic locking mechanism, cardboard outside, and an integrated or separate tray.
