Brez is a new line of ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages incorporating federally legal, hemp-derived ingredients like THC, CBD, and adaptogenic lion’s Mane mushrooms. Brez’s sparkling drinks contain 2.5mg of THC, 5mg and CBD, and 25mg of lion’s mane, sweetened with agave nectar and flavored with lemons and elderberry.
Thanks to a loophole in the 2018 farm bill that legalized hemp, products containing hemp-derived psychoactive cannabinoids, including Delta-9 THC, are legal so long as the concentration is limited to 0.3% THC by dry weight. Though federally legal, some states, like Washington and Georgia, where recreational cannabis is legal, have banned hemp-derived THC.
