Étiquette’s packaging design for Scentiments transforms the home fragrance market with visually striking room sprays that redefine affordable luxury. Inspired by luxury perfume bottles, the packaging employs a “black on black” aesthetic with intricate textures and material finishes, emphasizing the marriage of Scent and Sentiments. Each scent is distinguished by a specific color tone and tactile pattern, creating an intuitive connection that invites consumers to explore the emotional impact of each fragrance.
SITUATION The home fragrance market is divided into low-priced air fresheners and expensive reed diffusers. The client has seen an opportunity to fill the gap and create mainstream yet best-looking and feeling room sprays that cost under 10 euros. The goal is to push the boundaries of the home scents category and conquer space on the shelves of major retailers and household goods stores. Each scent was carefully created in collaboration with a professional perfumer, and we felt that this level of thought needed to be apparent in the design solution.
