When a brand knows its demographic down to the core, creating the visual identity should be simple. Most brands, however, have too wide of a demographic or lack the insight to hit the nail on the head, but conceptual brand Gribouille, designed by Mattéo Tabutieaux, has packaging that knocks it out of the park.

Gribouille is a food brand that offers organic meals for babies, and the packaging represents the exploratory stage that these babies are in in their lives. Coloring outside the lines is often viewed as a “no-no,” but Gribouille is inspiring us to think creatively, push the limits, and stop believing that there’s such a thing as “perfection.”

Gribouille’s packaging truly is a work of art, from the artful scribbles, gorgeous typography, and food-inspired color choices. If Basquiat were to live inside baby food packaging, he’d be napping soundly within Basquiat’s cartons.
