Rubik’s Cube Celebrates 50 Years of Brain-Busters with a Handful of Limited-Edition Designs

The iconic Rubik’s Cube has officially been hurting the brains of the populace for a half-century, and parent company Spin Master has big plans to celebrate. Throughout 2024, they’ll release a handful of collaborations with giant entities like Marvel, Barbie, Mercedes-Benz, and even a Grateful Dead cube for the Deadheads. The centerpiece of the collection is a classic, warm-toned 50th anniversary design inspired by the toy’s classic ‘80s packaging. Other highlights include the De Stijl-esque board game Rubik’s Gridlock and a cool sensory cube that, while designed primarily for visually impaired players, would probably be a great tool for combatting overstimulation.
