Doublenaut’s Packaging Design For Stay Classy IPA Celebrates Tradition With A Non-Alcoholic Twist

Published

Doublenaut’s packaging design for Stay Classy IPA, a debut Non-Alcoholic IPA by Toronto’s esteemed Bellwoods Craft Brewery, tastefully captures the essence of the traditional beer experience. Tasked with encapsulating the authentic taste of a beer that defies alcohol, Doublenaut embraced the simplicity and whimsy reminiscent of the 70s and 80s Stubby Bottles. This nostalgic design approach transforms Stay Classy into an inviting and familiar choice, where the absence of alcohol becomes a secondary concern. The can’s sleek and immaculate aesthetics are perfectly complemented by a vibrant color palette of radiant blue, striking red, and lustrous gold, infusing the product with a captivating charm that stands apart.

Bellwoods is an acclaimed Craft Brewery in Toronto, Canada that is mostly known for their IPAs and Sour Beers. Our Client came to us with the ask to design a label for their 1st Non-Alcoholic IPA brand called Stay Classy. Since Bellwoods successfully created an NA IPA that pours and tastes like a beer, it was important the packaging reflected that. To achieve this, we leaned into the simplicity and playful type of 70s and 80s Stubby Bottles. This use of nostalgia makes Stay Classy feel like a comfortable regular, getting noticed for anything but its lack of alcohol.
