Jerry Seinfeld has been making the social media rounds as of late.
He’s out there doing the promotional grind for his new Pop-Tarts movie, Unfrosted, which also stars Melissa McCarthy, Hugh Grant, and Jim Gaffigan. Of course, he’s making waves for saying things about how sitcoms are too “woke” now and that the extreme left is ruining comedy while completely forgetting about the existence of things like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Family Guy, and, oh, I don’t know, his old pal Larry David’s recently-ended Curb Your Enthusiasm.
That’s probably what happens when you’re out gallivanting with comedians in cars and getting coffee while counting your yearly Seinfeld residuals. Still, promotion is promotion, and it can’t hurt to stir up a little old man yells at cloud-level conversation so you don’t have another Bee Movie on your hands.
