Phew, this year has been a whirlwind, and I’m pretty sure we could all use a nap or a few weeks off.
That’s because it’s been a busy 365 days. What we love about our annual Top 50 is that it’s a snapshot of the past year highlighting the best in packaging. Not only did we get a Pepsi redesign without “gravitational pull,” but we saw many a heritage brand scrape away years of hard-earned brand equity. We saw AI become more popular and perhaps even widely adopted, for better or worse (we’re not quite sure). The world turned pink leading up to the release of the Barbie movie, and Twitter lost its bird and turned to X.
