The ‘Zero Waste Creatives’ Podcast Dives Into the Sustainability of the Creative Industry – And All the Burnout and Dysfunction That Comes With It

There is undoubtedly a conversation surrounding sustainable design swirling about. 

However, for some designers passionate about the subject, there still aren’t enough meaningful, in-depth conversations exploring the complex issue surrounding sustainable design happening more broadly that arise in smaller settings among fewer people. Fe Amarante, founder and principal of Experimenta, and Brandi Parker, founder of Parker Brands, have joined forces to start having public conversations about sustainable design topics via the Zero Waste Creatives podcast.

Of course, “sustainability” means many different things to many different people. At least with the Dieline, that tends to revolve around better-for-the-planet packaging alternatives. However, one facet of the catch-all term also applies to the actual human bodies producing the design and branding work we write about daily.
