The Bulleit brand and product development teams collaborated with their network of leading bartenders to develop two ready-to-serve classic whiskey cocktails, a bourbon- based Old Fashioned, and a rye-based Manhattan. Both have been widely reviewed as excellent products in the category of pre-mixed cocktails. To avoid any confusion, these whiskey cocktails required a different direction and execution in packaging to separate from the line of Bulleit whiskeys and their iconic packaging.

These were created using design elements and typography from brand standards including the color palette. The background colors for each cocktail coordinate with the Bulleit Bourbon orange for the Old Fashioned (made with bourbon), and the Bulleit Rye green for the Manhattan (made with rye). Stubby, cylindrical shaped bottles in 750mL and 375mL were used instead of the famous oblong shape of the whiskey bottles, while the short neck shared some similarity to the silhouettes. Brand, product and serving stories surround the bottle in a 360o design making the package interesting from any view.
