Let’s Talk About Your Spice Drawer With Occo

I didn’t truly realize that my mom is no chef until the day I moved out. Don’t worry; she’s aware and fully admits that cooking is not her forte. She’s convinced that her taste buds don’t work properly because she’s the kind of person who doesn’t understand how people, particularly my dad, brother, and I, enjoy food and flavors at the level we do. Because of this, we grew up in a household with a spice drawer lacking in flavors other than “salt” and “expired nutmeg.”

If there’s one thing my mom did get right in not supplying the spices, it’s the fact that the packaging is grossly un-environmental, and the contents almost always lose their flavors before you can finish the container. That and they’re outrageously overpriced.
