Nono’s brand is inspired by a picky squirrel, also known as Nono, so talk about a brand with character. Each bag contains a selection of nuts or fruits and nuts hand-selected by Nono himself, and the packaging is perfectly big, bold, and cheeky. The brand, designed by WIN Creating Images, was on a mission to inspire consumers that good food doesn’t have to be boring. The enthusiastic color choices, striking typography, and delightful illustrations showcase the brand’s mission cheerfully.

The family business Janssen kicks off a modernization of their brand and their corporate design by launching further product ranges to conquer the retail market. That’s how ‘Nono’s Snack’ was born. The convenient snack comes in two varieties: as a nut mix and a nut-fruit-mix. The concept idea is inspired by a very picky squirrel, Nono, who is a big nut and fruit lover. Handpicked by Nono, every bag contains only the best nuts and fruits – 100% squirrel approved. In the design concept, Nono has a very prominent position on the front of pack and cannot be missed. Due to its role as a nut expert and collector, it was quickly decided to feature the cheeky squirrel as the main protagonist. The charming animal is supposed to make healthy snacking a fun option – and shows that good food doesn’t need to be boring and snacking doesn’t need to lead to a bad conscience. The design combines youthful happiness with a modern look, that appeals to young and old alike.
