Nothing screams comfort food more than a can of Cambell’s tomato soup and grilled cheese. It’s a warm hug, childhood security, and a party for your taste buds, all in a magical tin can.
As we mentioned before, this tin can, along with Cambell’s logo, recently received a redesign from the well-renowned Turner Duckworth. The new cans mimic the classic Tomato Soup can with the red top and white bottom evenly spreading across the circumference of the can. Previously, the cans had a wavy blue ribbon that read “great r cooking” between the two striking colors. Additionally, the soup’s flavor is now in red font, with a gold “soup” sitting right underneath. Before, the flavor title followed the curve of the blue ribbon and was a darker color, and underneath the flavor was a bowl of soup.
While the changes aren’t anything too wild, they are enough to make a big difference. Taking direction from the Tomato Soup was a smart move, especially as it’s a piece of art, looking at you, Warhol.
