With a new name, outdoor cookware company Yoke Outdoors needed new branding and assets to match. Its target audience is fortysomethings who used to go camping with their families when they were kids and now want to enjoy the nostalgia of cooking outdoors with their own families. We were pretty much exclusively influenced by ’50s ephemera: oil cans, coffee cans, matchboxes, hand-painted signage, tools, advertisements and dishes, among other objects. Even the materials— and the way things were printed influenced how we approached the design. We wanted to stay true to the simplicity and hand-made quality often found in that era.

Chloe is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. While she’s a writer by trade, she struggles to write her own bio. All you need to know is that she’s a lover of dirty martinis, a maker of charcuterie boards, and always has her nose in a book but hasn’t mastered doing all three at the same time.
