In case you weren’t already in the know, most baby wipes are made of plastic.
No, we’re not talking about the packaging—although they do use their fair share of plastic packaging. The fact is that most baby wipe brands use polyester. While there’s a part of me that is genuinely in awe of the science behind creating a piece of wondrously soft and soothing plastic, there’s the other part of me that says, Jesus Christ, you can’t even have a nappie or wipe that isn’t free of some kind of polymer (and while I can’t say kudos to you, Mario Lopez, you can at least tip your cap to Dude Wipes).
