Although the long-term health impacts of vaping are mostly unknown, nicotine vaporizers often come marketed as a healthier alternative to conventional tobacco products. Still, nicotine is addictive, and e-cigarettes have caused several other problems as they’ve grown in popularity, including underage use.
Unlike cigarettes, vapes are sometimes flavored, and they come in candy-colored delivery systems and packaging, something critics say attracts minors and, in turn, gets them hooked.
Now, the UK government is proposing new laws aimed at making access to disposable nicotine vapes more difficult for minors.
