Good News and 50/Fifty Announce Cannabis-Infused Hot Wing Sauce in Time for the Super Bowl

When it comes to cannabis-infused edibles, most of us are familiar with brownies, beverages, and chocolates. But as the industry grows and matures—thanks to more states decriminalizing and regulating cannabis products and sales—brands are coming up with more creative ways to get high beyond gummies.

In time for the Super Bowl, Cresco Lab’s Good News has partnered with Chicago-based sports bar 50/Fifty to create an infused wing sauce. The jars’ labels aren’t too flashy and don’t follow any cannabis packaging tropes. Instead, they sport a yellow background and footballs shooting fire from one end. Each 10oz jar contains a total of 100mg of THC, which, if used to coat two dozen wings, amounts to about 3mg per wing. No hero doses unless you can throw down some serious amount of hot wings, just a spicy, easy buzz.

Chicken wings are among the most popular items Americans grub on during the Big Game. Last year, the National Chicken Council, a trade group, estimated that 1.45 billion meaty morsels were consumed during last year’s Super Bowl.
