Barbie’s Dreamhouse has always been aspirational—it’s also maybe the first fancy house anyone encounters.
But it’s never quite been hip. There’s a bit of a late 20th-century “stuck in time” feeling to the classic design, and not really in a cool “sunken living room” kind of way, either.
